Though relatively new in Australia, the flowerhorn hobby has proved to be a fast growing favourite.
With strict laws prohibiting the import of these beautiful fish, it is left with enthusiast to ensure the advancement in the quality available. Known strains in Australia include Zhen Zhou (ZZ), Kamfa, Jinkang (Faders) and mixed Malau strains (pre-import rules). This means at present, most fish are a mixture of the above, with quality in Kamfa being the slowest in progression.

Our purpose is to further the hobby, quality and eventually do our part in reducing the price of flowerhorn. The lack of quality in aquariums is quite evident, so within the flowerhorn community we provide classifieds, identification and general information to help those seeking to enter the hobby.
